When you join the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey as a member, you believe that art matters. Your support enables the Art Center to bring art to under-served communities, exhibit the work of contemporary artists, host engaging programming series, and so much more.

Please Note: You must be 18 or older to be an individual member. Children under the age of 18 can receive member benefits only at the Family Membership level or above.

Individual $60

Individual benefits for adults (age 18 and over)

  • Unlimited free gallery admission     
  • Members-Only discount on tuition on Studio School classes

DISCOUNT LEVEL $35

Seniors (65 years and older) and College students (18 years and older) can purchase an Individual Level Membership at the discounted rate of $35. This Membership Level cannot be purchased online as you must show proof of age or present a college ID (presented in person or via fax). Please call 908.273.9121 or visit the Art Center to join at this level.

Art Patron $2,500

  • Exhibition catalogue signed by the artist ($30 value)
  • Invitations to exclusive events, such as visits with the Curator to galleries and private collections


Please Note: Memberships are valid for one full year from the date of issue. Pleas allow 30 days to receive membership card(s). All memberships are tax-deductible and are non-refundable with no exceptions.

The Art Center offers a series of exclusive opportunties throughout the year for for our Members who are artists. 

The Members’ Committee at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey works to provide a forum for members of the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey to display their work to the public in a manner that showcases the quality, professionalism, and caliber of each participant, and is rewarding and festive as well as an asset to the community. 

The Committee has three signature programs: 
1.  The Summit Downtown Art Festival, in collaboration with Summit Downtown, that takes place in
     September. 
2.  An Open Call for exhibitions curated by Members in the Strolling Gallery and Anne’s Place Gallery.   
     The call for proposals is in the spring of each year. 
3.  Two Pop-up Exhibitions in September & May for Members only.
