Nancy Ori, well-known New Jersey photographer and former student and colleague of Ansel Adams, offers an online presentation of one of the world’s most famous photographers. She will share the story of a man and his life of dedication, adventure, achievement, friendships and concern for nature, along with her own personal experiences of knowing him. “In 1978 and 1980, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study with Ansel in California and then teach at the Ansel Adams Workshop for eight seasons. Through this association, I was exposed to his philosophy on preservation and documentation of the landscape and learned a special respect and love of the land.” Nancy’s presentation will be in the form of a slide presentation with time for questions.
