Low-Relief Ceramic Triptychs

Create a colorful, low-relief carved stoneware hanging tile triptych in this unique workshop. We will begin by sketching a design on paper and transferring it onto slabs of stoneware clay. Students will then carve and sculpt the clay to create depth to make their designs pop. Color will be added with slips and underglazes. A hanging system will be built into the tiles for easy display when completed.
