CONTEMPORARY PRINTMAKING AT HOME WORKSHOP SERIES
Over the course of two three-hour online sessions, learn the basic techniques of printmaking without a press, in the comfort of their own studio spaces. Using materials and tools sourced from our homes and studios, we’ll explore the basics of monoprinting, relief printing and drypoint (intaglio) printmaking. Artists should anticipate ample instruction and demonstrations, troubleshooting and critique, hands-on work and group discussions. All live presentations will be held via Zoom or similar video conferencing tool. Sign up for one, two or all three sessions. This workshop series is ideal for beginners, and a perfect primer for more in-depth printmaking workshops and courses! No experience necessary!

Using simple tools and materials, we’ll delve deep into creating texturerich plates as matrices for adapting well-honed skills in new directions. We will also explore working with color, multiple plates and easy tips and tricks for registration and editioning.
