Still-Life Drawing (ages 9–12)


Working from a different still-life set up every week, students will explore various drawing media such as pencil, charcoal, and marker. Formal techniques such as contour drawing, negative space drawing, and eraser drawing will be investigated. As students perfect the different mediums, focus will be placed on composition and defining forms with line and shading to create full realized drawings.
