Have you been busy during the shutdown creating ceramics at home? The Art Center is now offering contactless drop-off and pick-up ceramics firing service! Each registration fee covers up to 12 items, maximum dimensions of about 12x12x8 inches per piece. Pieces must be made of clay bodies that fire at cones 6-10 to ensure proper firing. Simply register for the firing service for the drop-off date of your choice.

Tuesday 6/2 (pickup 6/9)
Thursday 6/4 (pickup 6/11)
Tuesday 6/9 (pickup 6/16)
Thursday 6/11 (pickup 6/18)
Tuesday 6/16 (pickup 6/23)
Thursday 6/18 (pickup 6/25)
How It Works:

Box your items to be fired. Include the firing form in the box, and clearly write your name on the exterior.
Between 9am-12pm on your drop-off date, bring your box to the Art Center. Please wear a face mask and place your box on the table inside the Art Center’s lobby. To make this a contactless experience, there will be no staff in the area, and access to the building beyond the lobby is prohibited. Simply place your box and leave.
On the designated pick-up date, your completed items will be boxed and placed on the table for pickup. You will also receive an email notification that the items are ready for pick-up.
Firing dates are depending on receiving a minimum number of students to run the kiln. If we do not have enough registrants, we will contact you the day prior. Assuming drop-off is running unless otherwise notified.
