Handbuilding Raku Animals


Learn various techniques of handbuilding while preparing work to fire in the Art Center’s upcoming Fall Raku-Fest. Students will create a small collection of animals of their choice with guidance that considers the unique effects and challenges that raku firing creates. Exploring the use of colorful underglazes for raku firing will also be covered. Materials fee includes clay, underglazes and bisque firing of all work.
