The Art of Collagraphy - 5 weeks


Explore the exciting and varied techniques of collagraph printmaking and how to combine collagraph prints with other media to create beautiful mixed media prints. Students will learn how to create a collagraph plate by building textures on a board. Students will ink and print their plates, and learn different ways of adding other mediums to embellish their prints. Through demonstrations, students will also learn proper use of the printing press as well as methods for printing by hand. Emphasis will be on exploring the medium of printmaking while having fun and developing new skills. What to Bring
