| Learn how to “see” like a photographer. By studying and applying the rules of composition, students can make their photographs stand out. Topics will include: what composition is in photography and art in general; an in-depth look at the various rules of composition; setting up the camera in order to utilize different rules in practical exercises; deciding which rule to use for a specific subject; combining the rules of composition with quality/direction of light to create a certain mood and tell a visual story; and how, when, and why to break these rules. Registration is limited to 10 students to allow for maximum time and attention.
