The Essentials of Oil Painting: Landscapes

Learn the nuts and bolts of what every painter needs to start out or to brush up on the fundamentals of painting. We will begin with discussing how to pick your materials and not spend a fortune. Through demonstrations basic principles such as value, perspective, color mixing, composition and drawing techniques will be introduced. We will also discuss the key parts of the landscape: i.e. sky, trees, water. Students will then work on their own landscape paintings with ample individual attention in a fun and friendly environment.
