New Approaches to Glazing & Finishing Ceramics


Come try something new and add some fun tricks to your glazing and finishing repertoire. Try out dishwashing soap mixed with glaze for bubble-glazing. Create designs with stencils made on a Cricut machine to mask off areas. Students can experiment with other materials such as underglaze and shaving cream. Please bring both bisque-fired and leather-hard pieces for glazing and decorating. As part of the materials fee students will receive a set of underglazes to keep.
