Garden Painting with Mixed Watermedia

Combine different watermedia media to free your creativity. Use the luminosity of watercolor, the opacity of gouache, and the permanence of acrylic to your best advantage. Begin a garden scene painting with watercolor then build on it using gouache and acrylic to add an opaque contrast and make changes which would not be possible in watercolor. Students will also experiment with adding marker and other watermedia. Most materials provided.
