Introduction to Precious Metal Clay

Precious metal clay (PMC) is a fun and versatile material that starts as a malleable clay and, after firing, becomes a solid metal piece. This course will introduce jewelers and non-jewelers alike to a variety of techniques to manipulate and decorate their own PMC jewelry pieces. Learn to decorate, texture, set stones, polish, and patina using various tools and molds. Students will also be shown how to set, monitor, and fire kilns.
