Explorations in Jewelry Techniques & Design

This class will begin by covering foundational skills such as piercing by sawing, hammering texture, and bezel setting. Students will then progress to making jump rings and rivet, and hone soldering skills by creating a chain with a toggle clasp. Those wishing to learn more advanced skills will be introduced to step bezel, prongs, and tube setting techniques. Individual designs are encouraged and will allow for the creation of truly one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.
