Mix It Up! Mixed Media & Collage (ages 9-12)

Combining multiple materials and techniques is a freeing and stimulating method of art-making. Unleash your creativity by learning how to see and use every-day items as art materials. Add a cool texture, a pop of color, or a surprise twist to take your artwork to the next level. Students will mix a variety of mediums to create 2D and 3D works of art. Most materials will be provided. Students should bring materials such as magazines, papers, found items, and card board.
