Handmade Boro Tote Bags

CourseGraphic
Create a handmade tote bag with a unique Japanese boro-inspired accent! Boro (translated as “ragged”) is the Japanese tradition of using small stitches to mend clothing. Make a tote bag from scratch with a sewing machine, and learn to hand stitch fabric appliques using the boro stitch to create a decorative focal point. No previous sewing experience required! All basic materials needed for the workshop are included, however, please bring some fabric scraps to personalize your project.
