Shibori Resist Dyeing


Shibori is a collection of Japanese resist dyeing techniques (akin to American tie-dye) that creates unique patterns by folding, binding, and sewing fabric before immersing it into dye. Students will learn various folding and binding techniques and then dye their pieces in synthetic indigo. Please wear clothes you can get messy in, and be prepared to have fun!
