Introduction to Silk Painting


Create a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art while learning the basics of silk painting in this introductory workshop. Students will learn how to work with water-based resist to draw out their design, and then paint in vibrant colors with special silk fabric dyes and paints. We will also explore salt effects that to add a dynamic touch to your design. The finished piece will be a permanent and colorful masterpiece!
