Travel through the pages of your favorite books and create one of a kind artworks. Students will be inspired by famous authors and illustrators to create projects such as a paper mache mouse from the book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, a charcoal Harry Potter drawing or an Alice In Wonderland themed painting.
Students work on three separate art projects a day. Each week students will create 1 clay project, 1 sculpture project, several painting, drawing, collage and other mixed media projects.
Daily Schedule:
9:45-10AM Morning Check-In
10-11:30AM Morning Art Project
11:30AM-12PM Lunch (packed from home)
12-1:15PM Afternoon Art Making
1:15-1:30PM Snack (packed from home)
1:30-3PM Afternoon Art Project
3-3:15PM Afternoon Pick-Up
Every Friday is Art Exhibition Day! Family and friends are invited to see the works created during the week. Exhibits begin each Friday at 2pm.
