Introduction to Basketry


Come explore the history and techniques of basketry. We will cover the different types of materials, tools, and skills used to create beautiful and functional pieces. Each student will complete three baskets in rattan reed in the plaited, spoke, and rib styles. Please bring basketry or garden shears. All other materials provided.
