Portrait Painting in Oil


Fridays, 6:30p, - 9:00pm \| Learn to capture an accurate likeness when painting a portrait from life. This course will cover how to use light and shadow to define forms using oil paint. Develop skills in blocking compositions directly onto canvas, measuring landmarks, comparing values, finding edges and more. Students will be guided through a series of short demostrations and individual critiques.
