This guided open studio class is made for students who have some prior art experience in painting and/or mixed media. Each session, the instructor will provide guidance and individualized advice to each student’s work. Additionally, students will be encouraged to find their own artistic voice, inspiration, explore different materials, and try new style approaches to their piece. The instructor is an experienced painter and mixed media artist who can assist students with the following subject matters: representational and abstract in oil, acrylic, watercolor, inks and other types of mixed media. Please bring desired mediums/materials you wish to work with during the duration of the class and the instructor can discuss one-on-one with you what other supplies you could use for your piece.
