This class will explore the different ways to create one-of-a-kind monotype prints. Students will learn all about the materials and tools needed for this process, as well as learning how to use the press. Class time will include demonstrations, one-on-one work with the instructor, group discussions, and open press time to create a new body of work, or to just have fun with new techniques. No previous printmaking experience is required. Exploration and experimentation with the processes are encouraged. Some materials provided. Additional supplies to be discussed during the first class.
