In this class, students will explore the creative world of making puppets by using different kinds of media in the process. Some of the projects will consist of finger puppets, sock puppets, pop-up puppets and marionets. While creating their own unique puppets, students will learn various subject matters including, sculpture, painting, sewing and collage. Once their puppets have been brought to life, students will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with their peers and put on a puppet show! All materials provided.
