Drawing Skills for Painters


Do you like to paint but struggle with making an accurate sketch before beginning to paint? This workshop will focus on drawing skills such as basic shapes, positive and negative space, angles, sighting and measuring, gesture drawing, and using a grid to copy or enlarge an image. Students will be working from life and from reference photos, with the goal of making accurate sketches that could be used as the foundation of a painting. What to Bring
