Get inspired and experiment! This class is designed to explore the world of contemporary art while gaining a fresh perspective, getting inspired, and creating wonderful art. Each week, students will get acquainted with the work of two to three contemporary artists. Afterwards, students will execute paintings of their choice and be encouraged to experiment with newly acquired techniques. The class will analyze impasto painting and its use of patterns, gestural expression, abstraction, and unusual colors. All levels welcome.
