Clay Quilts & Textured Tiles - 5 weeks

Join this class to make terrific tiles and quaint quilts out of clay! Students will learn how to make textured tiles using lace, doilies, and stamps. Then, the tiles will be glazed, which will highlight the textures and patterns. The finished tiles will be stitched together, mounted, and framed to create a clay quilt wall piece. The process and materials will be discussed further in class. Materials fee covers the firing and glazes. All levels welcomed.
