Autumn Still-Life in Oils


Create an autumn themed painting working from a seasonal still-life in oil paint on panel. Students will begin with thumbnail sketches and progress to a charcoal outline on panel. The final step will be to paint a fully colored version of the still-life in oil paint. Demonstrations of each step will be provided as student’s progress through each stage. Students will leave with a finished, but wet oil painting. All materials will be provided, but students are encouraged their own supplies if desired.
