Learn how to bring a story to life visually and create a look that is dynamic, compelling, attractive and FUN! Join Kat Block, the artist of “Little Mouse”, to develop an illustration style for your own original story or existing nursery rhyme. Students will be instructed in the best ways to emphasize the most important aspects of their story using composition and page placement, color, values, and proportion. Students will also learn techniques for online researching of images to ultimately create more accurate and convincing drawings.
