Exploring Paper Clay


Try a new medium by creating a sculptural work from paper clay over a core base. This class will experiment with different ways to add variation to the surface, applying both positive and negative techniques. Colored slips can also be used to enhance the textured elements. These projects will be created through hand building to make wall hung or freestanding sculpture. At the end of this workshop, students will have a bisque fired piece.
