Creative Jewelry Techniques (ages 10-13) - 9 weeks


This class will focus on a variety of alternative materials for jewelry making, incorporated with traditional beading, wire-wrapping, and other techniques. Students will create beads and shapes with polymer clay, Egyptian Paste (faience), recycled newspaper and other paper materials. Once the beads and forms are complete, students learn how to complete bracelets and necklaces using several types of hooks and fasteners.
