The Art of the Print: Monoprint & Drypoint Printmaking (ages13-17) - 5 weeks


This class will explore fun ways to combine your drawing and painting skills to create different types of prints. Learn how to layer stencils, textures and colors to make painterly monoprints. Use a scribe to scratch into a plastic plate to transform drawings into fine line drypoint prints. Correct use of our professional printing press will also be covered. This class is the perfect way to produce work for an art school portfolio or to just explore new artmaking techniques.
