Using found papers, objects, and materials, artists will create works exploring the possibilities of paper pulp. Artists will learn the basics of pulling sheets and creating collage-work in the wet-process in this introductory workshop. Techniques taught include blow outs, inclusions, double-couching, shaped deckles and pigmenting pulp. Artists are encouraged to bring papers, objects and materials that have minimal dimension and can be added to their work collages for a more personalized touch. Beginners encouraged!
