Paper Quilling (ages 9-12) - 5 weeks

Paper quilling (or paper filigree) is a decorative art with a history that goes back to the 15th century. Different color strips of paper are curled, folded and arranged into intricate patterns to create colorful, dimensional images. Students will learn various quilling techniques such as closed coil, teardrop, star, crescent and open heart. Students will then use these techniques to create an image.
