Tuesdays, 9:30am-12pm | Pastel is a seamless and versatile way to transition from drawing into painting. Explore the working methods and possibilities of soft pastel with techniques such as layered color mixing, scumbling, and blending. Gain a solid foundation of composition, color, and value through exercises using still life, portraiture and landscape. Experimentation is encouraged! During the second half of the class, we will work on personal projects with individual feedback and constructive group critiques. Materials List
