CourseGraphic Learn the basics of silkscreen printing, one of the most widely used printmaking methods. In this one-day workshop, the instructor will cover how to create a stencil with light sensitive emulsion, exposing a screen, and making a one layer image with water based inks for easy cleanup. Silkscreen printing is versatile and well suited to all styles and disciplines of artmaking, images can be hand drawn, photographic, digital (or all three). Students are encouraged to have an image in mind and to bring more than just paper, such as a shirt, tote bag, or another flat surface they may want to print on. Most materials provided.
