Impasto painting has the ability to open wonderful new possibilities for visual expression. Paint is applied thickly to raise the brush strokes and palette knife’s markings from the canvas. In this one-day workshop, students will create a small landscape and learn a variety of impasto painting techniques such as texture, color mixing, and 3D composition.
