In this class, students will learn a variety of hand sewing techniques and will have the opportunity to complete fun projects including their very own squishy pillow representing an animal, food, or other favorite object. The instructor will teach sewing skills including straight stitch, backstitch, and running stitch. In addition to creating a squishy pillow, students will have the opportunity to create simple clothing or decorative items. Based on desired project, interests, and skill level, students will complete about 1–3 projects during the semester.
