CourseGraphic Do you wish your paintings had a looser and more painterly quality? This class will offer techniques to help students achieve that goal!  Many famous painters, like Sargent and Matisse, learned by setting up an easel in a museum and reproducing the brushwork of earlier artists. Each week, the class will study a different artist to analyze their paint and brush handling. Students will engage in weekly painting exercises, gain practical skills and practice good painting habits, allowing for more confidence and freedom.
