Drawing & Painting the Next Steps (ages 9-12) - 6 weeks

This class is for students looking to take the next step in developing their skills and artistic training. The first part of the class will focus on exercises in charcoal and graphite of various subjects (including drawing from clothed models) focusing on texture, form, proportion and value. The second part of the class will focus on techniques of painting in acrylic including color theory, brush work, and styles of painting.
