Watercolor Sampler (ages 13-17) - 5 weeks

CourseGraphic This introductory watercolor class will teach students essential foundational techniques, while also exercising their creativity and encouraging them to experiment. Students will gain an understanding of water usage, color mixing, and creating cohesive washes of color. Also, this kind of knowledge will be expanded with the integration of more intricate techniques such as glazing, layering, creating textures, and utilizing the whites of the paper. There will be opportunities for students to work with a variety of subject matters such as landscapes, florals, animals, and illustrations.
