Summer Art Camp for Tweens (ages 10–12)
Wednesday–Friday, 10 AM–3 PM
This offering is for young artists ready to graduate to the next level of art camp, where they will explore art media and techniques in greater depth during two daily studio sessions. Our talented teaching artists will guide tweens in developing their own personal style while they learn and refine their art skills.


Watercolor Exploration and Essential Drawing Techniques (3 Day Week)
July 5–7, 10 AM–3 PM
Watercolor Exploration: Watercolor is a classic painting medium that builds upon drawing skills while also incorporating color theory. The foundations of watercolor painting and color mixing will be explored as tweens are introduced to a variety of techniques, including basic washes, layering of paints, and how to create strong compositions with the interplay of dark and light values.
Essential Drawing Techniques:  This camp is perfect for the tween looking to develop the foundational skills of drawing. Tweens will strengthen their observational skills and gain familiarity with diverse media—such as graphite and charcoal—through various drawing projects and proven methods used by artistic giants like Andrew Loomis and Charles Bargue. Students will have a greater understanding of linear perspective and the structures of light and shadow as they are guided through their drawings.

Week of July 5: $295/week members; $305/week non-members (3 Day Week)
There is no Early Bird Discount for this abbreviated week of camp.

We offer early drop-off starting at 8 AM, and late pick-up until 5:30 PM. The following options are available for this abbreviated week of camp:
$30 for drop-off OR pick-up per day
