CourseGraphic Wednesdays, 4-6:30pm | Discover the potential of paper as a sculpture medium. We will cover the various techniques to make paper pliable and the types of papers that you can sculpt, carve, shape, and paper mache with. Start with a drawing and translate it into paper of various thicknesses to be combined and or cut, steamed, shaped, glued and/or painted to complete your final vision.

Please read:  Materials List - Cutting instruments: straight sharp scissors, angle Xacto #11 matt knife with extra blades, utility matt knife with extra blades, other smaller cutting instruments - Measuring tools: metal rulers-12” and smaller 6” metal - Removable Masking tape - tracing paper on a roll or large pad - Sketching pad 5.5”x8.5” - Drawing pencils - Small pencil sharpener - Erasers kneaded and preferred types - “Saral” transfer paper or similar - “Sharpie” fine point black pen - glue - flour - water bucket - paper towels
