Beginning Amigurumi: Japanese Crochet Toys & Dolls (ages 13-17)

CourseGraphic Amigurumi is a Japanese term for a crochet toy or doll. This class will introduce you to the basics of crochet including the different stitches used in creating your own amigurumi. Students will become familiar with materials and vocabulary used. You will produce one to three dolls in the shapes of animals with your own personal touches to make them unique. Students should bring one 3.50 mm aluminum crochet hook to class. All other materials provided.
