CourseGraphic This class offers an in-depth exploration of the creative process through mixed media artmaking. Students will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of materials such as wood, polymer clay, oil and acylic paints, epoxy resin, and egg tempera, while integrating both traditional and non-traditional techniques to achieve their artistic objectives. The curriculum will focus on creative problem-solving, the development of individual expression, and effective utilization of diverse media to translate ideas into works of art. Some materials provided. Additional materials to purchase will be discussed during class. The instructor will help each student create their own materials list for their individualized project, so they know what to purchase and bring with them to each class. Depending on the project and materials, students will have an in-progress or finished work by the end of the course.
