This offering is for young artists ready to graduate to the next level of Art Camp, where they will explore art media and techniques in greater depth during two daily studio sessions. Our talented teaching artists will guide tweens in developing their own personal style while they learn and refine their art skills.


Art Journaling and Drawing with Pen & Ink
Monday, July 27 - Friday, July 31, 10 AM–3 PM

Art Journaling: Art journaling is a wonderful habit for everyone! Keeping a journal that contains one’s inspirations, frustrations, and dreams is a way to creatively process everyday life. Campers will make their own journal with simple bookbinding techniques and fill its pages both inside and outside of camp. Campers will be encouraged to share their journaling journey during camp.

Drawing with Pen & Ink: From quick sketches to detailed drawings, this camp will teach campers the tips and tricks of pen & ink! Campers will explore techniques such as loose sketching, cross-hatching, and stippling as they learn to create contrast with texture and ink. We will also learn to create softer drawings using ink and a brush. Some basic drawing skills will also be covered.

Flexible Extended Care
Our flexible extended care options make busy family schedules easier while also giving students more time to create and explore. Extended care is a welcoming space to start or end the camp day with free-choice art activities and games in a fun and relaxed environment. Flexible, affordable, and supervised by caring staff, these options are the perfect extension of the camp day. You can purchase single days or full-week care starting at 8 AM and ending at 5:30 PM.

The following options are available:
$30 for early drop-off OR late pick-up per day
$115 for a full week of early drop-off OR late pick-up
$190 for a full week of early drop-off AND late pick-up
