CourseGraphic Needle felting is a fun fiber technique that is easy to learn and full of possibilities! Through demonstrations and step–by–step instruction, students will transform colorful wool fiber into beautiful tactile felted images and objects. Techniques covered will include how to form basic shapes, layer colors, add details, and more. This class will explore creating landscapes, abstract works, and sculptural 3D pieces. Some project examples include forest animals and succulents. Also, students will be able to incorporate found objects and mixed media into their creations. Students are encouraged to come to class with their own ideas of what they wish to make with felt. Some materials provided.
