CourseGraphic Procreate is a beginner–friendly software that allows traditional artists to explore the fundamentals of digital art. Students will be introduced to the software while building on techniques of traditional drawing and painting. This class is great for beginners and experienced artists who are interested in learning the fundamentals of digital art. Students will learn to use layers to create their digital drawings, explore digital brushes, and save and share their drawings in different digital formats. By the end of this program, students will be comfortable using this software for drawing and translating traditional sketches into digital drawings. Students will need to bring their own iPad (2019 or newer) with the Procreate software (Versions 5.0–5.2) downloaded to each class. The instructor will also assist with file storage for all students, such as using iCloud or Google Drive.
