Summer Art Camp for Tweens (ages 10–12)
Monday–Friday, 10 AM–3 PM
This offering is for young artists ready to graduate to the next level of Art Camp, where they will explore art media and techniques in greater depth during two daily studio sessions. Our talented teaching artists will guide tweens in developing their own personal style while they learn and refine their art skills.


New! Sketchbook Week and Collage, Mixed Media & Mask Making
Monday, August 10 - Friday, August 14, 10 AM – 3 PM

Sketchbook Week: This camp is perfect for campers looking to develop the foundational skills of drawing and painting. Campers will hone their observational skills and gain familiarity with diverse media, such as graphite, charcoal, and acrylics, and will also experiment with mixed-media creations! They will end the week with a sketchbook filled with dynamic gesture drawings, life drawings, blind contours, and contour drawings. Linear and atmospheric perspective, color theory, and building form with light and shadow will also be covered as campers render their artistic creations.

Collage, Mixed Media & Mask Making: Mixing it up is what collage and mixed media is all about! Campers will have the opportunity to use a variety of supplies such as paint, patterned paper, fabric, fibers, and more. During this camp week, campers will learn about shape, color, texture, and light, all while creating both representational and abstract works of art. Our culminating project will be putting these skills together to create amazing papier-mâché masks!

Flexible Extended Care
Our flexible extended care options make busy family schedules easier while also giving students more time to create and explore. Extended care is a welcoming space to start or end the camp day with free-choice art activities and games in a fun and relaxed environment. Flexible, affordable, and supervised by caring staff, these options are the perfect extension of the camp day. You can purchase single days or full-week care starting at 8 AM and ending at 5:30 PM.

The following options are available:
$30 for early drop-off OR late pick-up per day
$115 for a full week of early drop-off OR late pick-up
$190 for a full week of early drop-off AND late pick-up
