Get ready to weave, warp, twist, and tie in this fun-filled, hands-on, fiber arts class. In this exciting class, students will get to work in the magical world of textile arts, exploring yarn techniques, felted fabrics, and playful pattern–making. Each week, students will bring textiles to life with exciting projects such as pom–pom monsters, nature–inspired collages, and colorful yarn portraits. Towards the end of the course, students will participate in a collaborative project where they will weave together all of the exciting new skills they have learned! With every twist and tie, students will learn fine motor skills, creativity, and collaborative skills, all while making textile crafts of their own.
